BTS Reveals Massive 2026–27 World Tour Dates in Their Official Comeback Announcement

Global K-pop phenomenon BTS has officially unveiled its highly anticipated 2026–27 world tour, marking the band’s first headline tour since completing their mandatory military service and returning to group activities. The announcement caps off an extraordinary comeback year for the septet and sets the stage for one of the biggest concert itineraries in modern pop history.

The new tour, spanning 79 shows across 34 cities on five continents, will kick off in South Korea in April 2026 and extend through March 2027, with stops in Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia — plus additional dates expected to be confirmed later.

A Triumphant Return to the Global Stage

BTS’s world tour begins with a homecoming series of concerts in Goyang, South Korea, with performances scheduled for April 9 and April 11–12, 2026. From there, the group moves on to Tokyo, Japan before launching an ambitious international run that will take them to major markets around the globe.

This will be the band’s first full tour since their “Permission to Dance on Stage” shows in 2021–22, which were cut short by the group’s extended break for individual projects and South Korea’s mandatory military service.

North America and Beyond: Key Stops and Highlights

The North American leg of the tour forms one of the core sections of the itinerary, with BTS scheduled to perform in major stadium markets across the United States and Canada, including:

Tampa, Florida

El Paso, Texas

Stanford, California

Las Vegas, Nevada

East Rutherford, New Jersey

Foxborough, Massachusetts

Baltimore, Maryland

Arlington, Texas

Toronto, Canada

Chicago, Illinois

Los Angeles, California

In Europe, BTS is slated for shows in cultural capitals such as Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris, while Latin American dates include Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo later in the tour.

Asia, Australia and the Tour Finale

Beyond their home region and the Western legs, BTS’s world tour will encompass extended stops across Southeast Asia, including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta, as well as Australia in early 2027, with performances in Melbourne and Sydney. The tour is currently scheduled to conclude in Manila, Philippines in March 2027.

This global itinerary not only represents one of the most expansive touring schedules announced to date, but also underscores BTS’s enduring international appeal and the pent-up demand from fans — known as the BTS ARMY — following the group’s hiatus.

New Music and Ticketing Ahead

The tour coincides with the release of BTS’s first full group album in several years, slated for March 20, 2026, setting the stage for an integrated comeback that blends new recorded material with live performances.

Ticket sales are structured to give priority access to BTS’s official fan club, with presales for ARMY members beginning on January 22–23, 2026, followed by general public sales on January 24 through major ticketing platforms.

A Tour for the Ages

BTS’s 2026–27 world tour is shaping up to be a landmark moment — not just for the band’s career but for the global pop concert landscape as a whole. With dozens of stadium shows spanning nearly a year and a content-rich live experience, the tour promises to be one of the most eagerly anticipated entertainment events of the year.
